The next big thing...?

There aren't many soccer movies out there.

A quick brainstorm comes up with "Bend it Like Beckham," "Ladybugs" (the Rodney Dangerfield film) and, of course, "The Big Green."

But here comes another. It's called "Gracie" and is based on the life story of actress Elisabeth Shue, who conveniently has a role in the film.

You can find the trailer here or visit the official website.

It looks like a mix of "Goal!," "Remember the Titans" and "North Country."

Apparently it received good reviews at the Heartland Film Festival, but might be a situation where the non-soccer fan enjoys it more than those it touch with the sport.

Soccer lovers might get more caught up with the soccer action and not the story; I definitely could see that happening if/when I watch it.

I just thought I'd let you all take a look.

Attention boys and girls I've decided to create my own footie blog, so far I've only delved into Manchester United news but I will soon make posts encompassing all of the world of football. Basically it's just my way of getting out the constant football thoughts and opinions that cloud my head. Hope you guys enjoy it!
