Hope Solo is a stuck up cocky bitch
Hope Solo may be cocky, but she's not a bitch. Goalkeepers are a different breed that must stay positive that they can stop every shot everytime.
She's a great goalie. And she's also hot.
Hope solo is an egotistical fathead and deserved to be booted off the team. She has a big mouth and is not a team player. Most of all, she still hasn't learned her lesson.
Hope Solo is a breath of fresh air...she tells it like it is. She didn't suscribe to the "fill-in-the-blank" BS that so many athletes regurgitate over and over.
If you want to see whether the chicken can still dance after 10 years, you try it at the initial stages not at the semi-final!
After 10 long years, the chicken might have done everything that Greg Ryan wants (& had wanted) the chicken to do except catch that loose ball.
Now what is it that Hope Solo did not agree to that made Greg Ryan bench her?
Ryan should be fired for the stupid decisions he made for the semi-final game. Pulling your goalie after the number of game in a row she performed well in and the poor substitution decisions leave not doubt he is not a national level coach. He has to go.
Hope was right in criticizing him for his stupidity. Her comments were meant for Ryan not Scurry.
Hope Solo did the right thing and has to right a lot more wrongs done to women's soccer in general.

So maybe the decision to bench Solo was the wrong one. As a professional, one has to show restraint on a personal level. Her outburst to the media was wrong.
Tell me what male athlete would keep his mouth shut in a situation like the one Hope Solo was put in!! The arrogance of the coach and the fact that he didn't play Scurry at all leading up to the toughest game of the World Cup makes him look like an idiot. I'd like to see a bunch of new faces in women's soccer -- goodbye Ryan & goodbye Kristine Lilly.
