Oldest English soccer photo ever?

I saw this over at EPL Talk. Which tells us the team picture is from 1876 and features ten players and one referee.
The photograph was taken of the team that was to play Scotland on April 4, 1876. It was to be England’s fifth international match ever.
Where's the ball? Or the color? Or the 11th guy?

I'm pretty sure there are 11 men in that photo. Now if you can find the 5 subs and Italian manager, that's some sleuthing.

"Features ten players and one referee." And that's why I post anonymously ... well, unless I forget to. Love the blog.
