Keller introduced by Sounders FC

It wasn't a big surprise, but it is a big move. Seattle now has a world-class 'keeper tending it's nets.

Listening to Keller though, who was born in Olympia and grew up in Lacey I believe, it appears as though playing on the field is only one of his goals.
I would love to be what (Franz) Beckenbauer has become to Bayern Munich for example. I would love to work my way up and to really be a part of Sounders FC for life. Thank you.
Makes you thinking coaching or a front office job could be the next step.

Now, as many Sounders fans know, the USL team has a pretty dang capable 'keeper right now in 24-year-old Chris Eylander. And the Sounders FC GM acknowledged this.
I hope in my heart that we are able to sign Chris as well and Chris gets a chance to develop and learn from arguably the best goalkeeper in U.S. history.
Good times.

In other news: some D.C. writer/blogger claims he's been tipped off to another Seattle signing. And that it's Sanna Nyassi, the twin brother of New England Revs midfielder Sainey.

And Keller will be talking to our boys on the Seattle Soccer Show soon.
