Liverpool 2, Middlesbourgh 1 -- Mido looks to be having a special year as he puts the Boro up 1-0 late. But there's some magic at Anfield these days as an own goal (85') and a last gasp winner by Gerrard (above, 90+') send the Reds fans home happy.Fulham 1, Arsenal 0 -- Oh man Arsene. It's gonna be one of those years huh? 20 shots and millions in attacking talent and nothing? Odds a high on the Gunners finishing out of the top four.
Manchester City 3, West Ham 0 -- City fans saw young Micah Richards hospitalized with a head knock and a brace by Elano in a dominating win. Dean Ashton was a no show, maybe he needs pizza power.
Chelsea 1, Wigan 0 -- Deco (right) has a glorious free-kick in the 4th minute, but the Blues show nothing after that. Definitely a step back for Scolari and Co., Roman probably broke something expensive.Manchester United 1, Portsmouth 0 -- The defending champs continue to look pedestrian without Ronaldo, surviving with only a weak Fletcher goal. Portsmouth thanks the heavens it only has Everton away next.
Newcastle 1, Bolton 0 -- Michael Owen is like the All-American boy that it's hard to root against. Well he gets the second-half winner as a sub and it could be a good year for The Toon.
Stoke 3, Aston Villa 2 -- The newbies get a hard-fought win against thanks to a 90th-minute Mamady Sidibe winner. Agbonlahor was nice and kept his difficult name outta the scorebook.
Sunderland 2, Tottenham 1-- Cisse (right) comes back to give Ramos nightmares as Tottenham stays at the bottom of the table. Berbatov is closer to becoming a millionaire reserve and Arshavin reamins a mystery.Everton 2, West Brom 1 -- Timmy and the boys escape with a win against the newly promoted dudes. West Brom had 19 shots and over 60% of the possession.
Blackburn 1, Hull 1 -- I didn't want to write, you didn't want to read it.
Oh and QPR won 2-0, they're 2-1 this season, don't kill me Austin.
