Beckham to have line of children's books

First Sesame Street, now children's books.

The plots of the stories, of course, will pimp his own soccer academies. Targetted to 7-year-olds, the books will detail the lives of kids on and off the training pitch, while also including tips and tactics.

Release coming June 2009. Save the date.
A spokesman for David Beckham said: “The David Beckham Academy is more than just David’s dream of giving children the chance to experience great football coaching, it exists to encourage all aspects of their learning and development.

“David is particularly pleased that The Academy has inspired a series of books that will bring children to reading through football.”
I think I have a perfect place for Beckham's books. Next to Terrell Owens' Little T Learns to Share.

I guess other English celebrities have had success with kids books, including Ginger Spice.

But I'm trying to figure out what's next: A Beckham kids' makeup line? A collection of scarves for boys? Financial advice? How to make tattoos cool for white people?

Not sure.

Tip goes to The Spoiler.
