AirAsia looking at United sponsorship

The Malaysian air company is considering becoming the main shirt sponsor of Manchester United.

But there's one last hurdle: the company thinks they might already be big time enough.
"We would not be the global brand we are today if we hadn't invested early on," [AirAsia chief executive Tony Fernandes] added. "The question is whether we need to anymore. And that's what I'll be examining."
The United deal with AIG ends in 2010.
