Pavel Nedved to retire

The Czech Rep. and Juventus mainstay says he's calling it quits at the end of the season.
"Maybe you think I'm still young but I'm almost 37 - I will quit at the end of the season," he said.

"I'd love to finish with a Champions League win. We lost to Chelsea but can turn it around in the return leg."
Always the optimist. Anyways, kudos to a great career.

Nedved is one of the game's best ever players, a true legend. I'd even go as far as to say I would rather have had him in my team than his predecessor at Juventus, the great Zinedine Zidane.

Too far?
