Adebayor hurt, and fights AIDS

Turns out the Gunners/Togo forward is kinda caught between the classic club and country debate.

He hasn't played for Arsenal with a hamstring issue, but will travel to Africa for Togo in an upcoming World Cup qualifier v. Cameroon.

Most think he's just gonna travel to boost morale.

Not only that, Emmanuel Adebayor is also the United Nations goodwill ambassador for its global awareness project to fight the spread of HIV and AIDS.
"On the pitch we compete - off the pitch we are uniting the world against AIDS,'' Adebayor said in a statement.
Well said.
Michel Sidibe, executive director of UNAIDS, said: "Sports stars like Emmanuel are excellent role models for young people.''
Sure is.
