Big news at Qwest

First off, there's a rumor spreading that the Seattle venue has been selecting to host the MLS Cup this year.

Sounds like another piece in what has been a fairy tale year for Seattle soccer. Though the true fairy tale would be if the Sounders FC advanced that far.

A great post over at GOALSeattle -- a must read for local soccer fans -- details the transformation of the stadium into a soccer home.

The euro-style box net goals. The banners. The soccer lines on the turf field. And, of course, the tarps for the upper deck.

Lastly, word is season ticket sales are now over 21,000.
