Surprised? Didn't think so. Me neither. This guy is like a magnet for this sort of stuff.

Apparently he owes 37 million euros in Italy for his playing days for Napoli over there.

A statement released on Contribuenti.it - the website for Italian taxpayers - has revealed Maradona, who spent seven years at the Serie A club between 1984 and 1991, has to date only contributed 42,000 euros and two luxury watches.

To be fair. They were really nice watches.

About 23.5 million of that -- or 63.5 percent -- is interest. Yikes.
