Sounders FC news o' the day

First off, the MLS team signed two familiar faces from the old USL Sounders on Monday. Welcome to the squad Roger Levesque and Zach Scott. Here are some quotes from the release.
“Roger is a player who has been committed to the Seattle area,” said Coach Sigi Schmid. “He is very active and has a very good work rate.”

“Zach is a very hard-nosed consistent defender, who takes a lot of pride in his defending play,” said Schmid. “He helps solidify our defense and make us stronger.”
I think it makes sense to fill in the roster with these kind of players. They'll be great in practice and would be cheap, you would think.

Word is Jeff Parke is done with his stint in Europe and back in the United States. Thus Sounders FC property.

Lastly, Drew Carey is all over the newswire these days. Here's an AP story and another on MLSnet.com.

Good times. Not long until the opener...
