When tragedies strike

At least 22 people were killed and more than 100 injured in a stampede at a World Cup qualifying soccer match in the Ivory Coast over the weekend.

People trying to push in to the stadium before kickoff started the panic. When the dust settled, the Drogba-led squad won 5-0.
There have been a number of stampedes at Africa’s crowded stadiums. Badly equipped security forces are far outnumbered and are often unable to control the voluminous crowds.
More sad news in the soccer world takes us to Brazil, where three people were shot in another dispute between rival supporters.

The percentage of soccer related violence is ridiculous.

That sure doesn't bode well for South Africa.
