Romario punishment dealt

This is something I'd either completely forgotten or never knew about. Six years later, it's back in the news.

The legendary Brazilian striker Romario will have to pay $17,000 worth of damages for attacking a fan in 2003. The legislative process ended Tuesday after a bunch of appeals and whatnot.
The disgruntled Fluminense fan, upset with the team's struggles at the time, threw six live chickens onto the field during a practice session.

Romario was upset and went into the stands to confront the fan, throwing punches and kicking him. A Fluminense trainer also attacked the fan along with Romario.
Nothing like protest via live chicken.
