Steaua Bucharest boss is a kidnapper?

How bizarre is this story? (Don't answer, rhetorical)

The first paragraph of this article sums it up perfectly, so instead of plagiarism, I'm just gonna blockquote -- used as a verb, I know.
Steaua Bucharest chairman Gigi Becali was detained by police on Thursday and questioned about the alleged assault and kidnapping of three men who had previously stolen his car.
Now that is a misuse of power. But that's also why you don't steal from powerful people, if you can help it.

Six goons team employees did the dirty work. Them and the boss were detained for 24 hours.

Turns out this Becali dude is quite a character: he's fired a coach for religious purposes and fixed some matches.

Crazy.
