UCL roundup and predix

Villareal 1, Arsenal 1 -- Things got off great for the Spanish home side with a brilliant strike from distance from Marcos Senna. But the day belonged to Emmanuel Adebayor, who hit a goal for the ages, as the Gunners got a crucial away goal in the tie.

Manchester United 2, FC Porto 2 -- The resulting is shocking to be sure, but the way United conceded it was even more surprising. The Portuguese side played inspired and got the score it deserved on a last-gasp equalizer by second-half sub Mariano.

Now for some predictions:

Barcelona 3, Bayern Munich 1 -- The struggles of the German side aren't going to be quelled against the offensive machine led by Messi and Co. Bayern has been impressive in the tournament so far, but Barca is a different beast.

Liverpool 2, Chelsea 2 -- I think this will be a fast-paced 90 minutes with some great goals and great drama. Weird how Chelsea would've been a clear favorite earlier in the year, but the Reds are playing with a lot of confidence now.
