UEFA Cup roundup

Hamburg SV 3, Manchester City 1 -- Robinho got the scoring started with a beautiful set-up to Stephen Ireland just 35 seconds in, but it was all 'Ze Germans' as Turkish would say after that. Hamburg peppered the goal all night, and only a nine-save effort from Shay Given has given the English side a small margin of hope.

PSG 0, Dynamo Kiev 0 -- Stalemate, but that's a pretty positive result for the road Ukrainians. Don't have much else to say about this one.

Werder Bremen 3, Udinese 1 -- Bow down to Diego. The Brazilian playmaker scored the twice in a triumph (at least on the scoreboard) for the home Germans, the Italians actually had more shots and possession. Quagliarella scored a late consolation in 87th minute for Udinese, but now a 2-0 result at home wins it for 'em.

Shakhtar Donetsk 2, Marseille 0 -- A workmanlike win at home for the Turkish side. Not as cool.
