MLS power rankings -- week 7

Chivas USA is unstoppable, yet the team doesn't look dominant. Preki's side finds a way to win and that's all that matter.

Chicago gets the nod at No. 2 despite a home draw with Seattle. The Fire simply looked the better side for most of the game and I can't justify a switch. How have they only won two games?

Real Salt Lake continues its Jekyll-Hyde thing (3-0 at home, 0-3 on road) and D.C. United is hitting it's stride.

Nice to see L.A. get a win -- albeit a sloppy one -- and look at the MLS Cup team (Columbus and New York). A combined 1-7-7.

1. (1) Chivas USA 6-1-1
2. (2) Chicago Fire 2-0-5

5. (9) Colorado Rapids 3-2-2
6. (6) Toronto FC 3-2-3
7. (4) Real Salt Lake 3-3-0
8. (8) Kansas City Wiz 3-3-1
9. (10) Houston Dynamo 2-2-2
10. (7) New England Revolution 2-2-2
11. (11) Columbus Crew 0-2-5

13. (12) San Jose 'Quakes 1-4-2
14. (13) N.Y. Red Bulls 1-5-2
15. (15) F.C. Dallas 1-5-1
