MLS power rankings -- week 9

Chivas USA continues to be the cream of the crop -- 7 wins, wow. No one else has more than four.

D.C. United is a consensus top-3 team now. Those thrilling come-from-behind draws have convinced us pollsters that the team is more deserving that it really is.

Three teams in the bottom five have gone unbeaten in the last couple weeks (since my last rankings). Though there have been way too many draws of late.

Real Salt Lake and Toronto FC are looking fraud-like. The Sounders FC are also 1-2-3 in its last six. Ugh...

1. (1) Chivas USA 7-1-2
2. (2) Chicago Fire 3-0-6
