Peru soccer team in crisis

The players are threatening to boycott.

The changes some big changes to take place if they're going to willingly suffer some embarrassing CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying results.

But, of course, said boycott would happen after June's qualifiers.
"From June 24, they will not accept a call-up from the national team until their demands have been met," [players union president Francesco] Manassero told a news conference on Wednesday. "We need to take urgent action to change football in our country."
Not really sure why. They haven't qualified since 1982.

And they're in last place this year.

And I don't think anyone knows what the demands are.

But at least Peru soccer got in the news... right?
