Young American hope

Looks like Dominic Cervi, a young American goalkeeper, is set to join Celtic. He had trained with the national team after rejecting a Major League Soccer contract.

It's always nice to see Yanks sign abroad.

Turns out, another young lad is turning heads over in Europe.

15-year-old midfielder Luis Gil has received some interest from Arsenal. "Who?" you ask. Ives has the answer:
A product of the successful Pateadores Soccer Club in California, Gil is regarded as one of the best young midfielders in the U.S. youth national team pool. He tallied a goal and two assists in the U.S. Under-17 team's recent CONCACAF Championship victory against Cuba on April 21st.
So there.

Americans rule.
