Argentina loses (W.C. qualifying)

How long with the Maradona experiment last?

One more loss?

I can't imagine the Argentina soccer federation is willing to sacrifice a World Cup to keep a legend in charge. I have the imagine the hot seat is somewhere around medium-high after the 2-0 defeat to Ecuador on Wednesday.

They currently sit fourth -- the last guaranteed qualifying berth in CONMEBOL.

Other big results:
  • Mexico finds some life and got a great winner in a 2-1 decision against T&T.

  • Big wins for England, Sweden, Serbia, Ukraine, Macedonia and Russia in UEFA.

  • Can you believe Chile -- which beat Bolivia 4-0 -- is 2nd in CONMEBOL?

  • It wasn't a qualifier, but Italy struggled to beat New Zealand 4-3. Crazy.
