MLS power rankings: week 12

Just two ties all week. So congrats to Chivas, Houston, D.C., Columbus, N.E. and -- yes you -- Los Angeles.

The preseason contenders that floundered early are finding their form. But league-wide parity remains pretty high.

San Jose had made a lot of moves of late, we'll see how that will affect things.

And New York is burrowing a nice hole in the basement. I have a feeling they might be there for a while (were they really in the MLS Cup last year?).
