Ghost Goal game redux

After being so clearly wronged by having an obvious goal disallowed (eventually losing 1-0), Crystal Palace were denied the opportunity at a replayed game.

It's probably the right call. Precedent and all.

Though it does bring another debate back the forefront: goal-line technology. Here's Football League chief operating officer Andy Williamson.
"With regard to the use of goal-line technology, the Football League has been saying for some considerable time that we would be happy to trial a prototype system in its competitions.

"However, until the law-making bodies of the world game sanction the use of any such system this cannot happen."
The refs want it too. Is this getting closer to becoming a reality?
