In his first start for Hull City in Carling Cup action, our young American scored from long distance and played a full 90 minutes in a 3-1 win against Southend United.

That's rave reviews from coach Phil Brown after his second-straight game.

Brown said: "The biggest bonus of the night wasn't just the fact some young lads have made their debuts and done well, it was getting 90 minutes out of Jozy Altidore."
