MLS power rankings: week 20

Seattle drops after a pathetic 4-0 loss this weekend. Though one team fared worse and fell almost to the basement: Kansas City.

Not a bad week for the bottom of the barrel. My worst-ranked teams in last week's rankings went a combined 2-0-0.

It does help that New York has been busy with CONCACAF Champions League action.

Has another noticed that Chivas USA has been stuck on eight wins for a while? Still they are tied for second in the league in wins. Hmmmm....

1. (1) Houston Dynamo 10-5-5
2. (2) Columbus Crew 8-3-9
3. (4) Chicago Fire 8-3-8
4. (5) D.C. United 6-4-10
5. (3) Seattle Sounders FC 7-4-8
6. (6) L.A. Galaxy 6-3-10
7. (9) Toronto FC 7-7-6
8. (8) Chivas USA 8-6-3
9. (7) Colorado Rapids 7-6-6
10. (10) New England Revolution 6-5-6
11. (11) Real Salt Lake 6-8-5

13. (14) San Jose 'Quakes 4-10-5
