USMNT news and notes

First off, the roster for Wednesday's qualifier in Mexico City was released a while back but I never got to it. All the usual suspects, so no great news.

The team got some great bulletin-board material via the cocky Andres Guardado.

Some other news from across the globe saw the debuts of Kenny Cooper (a goal-scoring one) with 1860 Munich and Charlie Davies with Sochaux.

Also there might be a young prodigy headed to MLS by means of Serie A.

Lastly, the young U-17 men's national team got its draw for their World Cup.
