Mikey saves the day (EPL roundup)

United versus City was the matchup of the weekend, and the game lived up to its billing. Great goals (two especially fine efforts from Craig Bellamy), controversy and an extra-time winner from old Michael Owen.

Great stuff.

In other Premiership action, Fernando Torres (Liverpool) and Thomas Vermaelen (Arsenal) each netted braces in wins. Chelsea remains perfect -- holding true to my wire-to-wire prediction -- but Didier Drogba is hurt.

Everton is finally looking like a decent side again. Lastly, Portsmouth is 0-6-0 after a 2-0 loss to Aston Villa. Poor Pompey.

Enjoy the Manchester derby Fanzone at the bottom.
