MLS power rankings: week 24

A new leader. The Los Angeles Galaxy.

The Beckham Experiment: first place? Who knew? But Landon Donovan, Beckham and Co. have been playing superbly of late. And they were the only team in this week's top four that didn't lose last weekend.

N.E. continues to rise up the charts. Real Salt Lake, Colorado and D.C. all had big weeks too.

I was tempted to move New York out of the basement, but 16 losses in 24 games is too ugly to ignore. Great stuff from them recently though.

1. (3) L.A. Galaxy 9-4-11
