MLS power rankings: week 26

There are only a couple sure-things in MLS rankings this week. Columbus is the surefire No. 1 team in the league right now.

The 11-15 spots are all reserved too (Real Salt Lake, Dallas, K.C., San Jose and New York).

Other than that, it's a mess. The playoff race is crazier than Kanye West at the VMAs. Heck, including mine, I've seen five polls rank Chivas USA in five different places.

Here's my best shot.

1. (2) Columbus Crew 11-4-9
2. (4) Chicago Fire 10-6-9
3. (1) L.A. Galaxy 9-5-11
4. (3) Houston Dynamo 11-8-7
5. (6) Seattle Sounders FC 9-6-10
6. (5) Colorado Rapids 10-8-6
7. (10) Chivas USA 11-9-3
8. (7) New England Revolution 9-8-6
9. (11) Toronto FC 9-9-7
10. (8) D.C. United 8-6-12
11. (9) Real Salt Lake 9-9-7
12. (12) F.C. Dallas 7-11-6
13. (13) Kansas City Wizards 7-11-6
14. (14) San Jose Earthquakes 5-12-5
15. (15) N.Y. Red Bulls 4-17-4
