Say it ain't so Le Tissier

The ol' Southampton forward has admitted to some reprehensible behavior.

Matt Le Tissier, now a television pundit, revealed in his autobiography that he tried to influence a game for betting purposes (the wager was on which club would get the first throw-in, weird but true).

For shame.
"I couldn't see a problem with making a few quid on the time of the first throw-in," said the 40-year-old.
Crazy enough, Le Tissier later scored in the game and Southampton won.

Not most obvious form of match-fixing -- kinda, whatever -- but still pretty stupid.
