Champions League roundup

Group A
Bayern Munich and Juventus played to a 0-0 draw in Germany. Apparently the home side dominated, but got nothing out of it but an injury to Arjen Robben. Bordeaux got a late winner at home to beat Maccabi Haifa 1-0 on a header by Michael Ciani (83').

Group B
At Old Trafford, Manchester United came back from a second-half deficit to beat Wolfsburg on goals by Ryan Giggs (his 150th with the club) and Michael Carrick. CSKA Moscow beat Besiktas 2-1 at home.

Group C
Not sure what's up with Milan these days. Leonardo's club continued its horrendous form and fell 1-0 at home to FC Zurich behind an incredible goal by Hannu Tihinen. Cristiano Ronaldo (above) dominated the other game scoring twice and earning a PK in a 3-0 win at Marseille.

Group D
A Nicolas Anelka strike into the top corner in the 18th minute was all Chelsea needed in a 1-0 road win at Apoel Nicosia over in Cyprus. FC Porto got two goals after the 74th minute to beat Atletico Madrid at home.
