The Curious Case of Michael Owen

The old man is dying to get back to the national team. Recently I saw a story where Michael Owen says he's just as fast and sharp as he's always been.

He also says people should stop calling him 'old man.'
"People think I'm past my thirties, I'm in my forties, the way they talk about me," Owen said. "I'm only 29. I'm not past it. It's not an easy squad to get into with the results the team are getting at the minute. But I'm as passionate as ever about extending my time with England.
Too bad he just got hurt again and is going to miss some three weeks with a groin strain.

Don't think that break is coming any time soon Mikey...
