Swedes in the news

How often are so many soccer stories on the wire that involves Sweden or Swedish players and coaches?

First off, Sven-Goran Eriksson fired his coach at Notts County. Then he immediately had to deny that he's taking the job.

In semi-related news the Swedish FA had to deny approaching Sven for its soon-to-be open position of head coach.

That of course is in response to current boss Lars Lagerback saying he'll quit if the country doesn't qualify for the World Cup.

He's not the only one dropping those hints, so is national hero (too much?) Henrik Larsson.

And since Sweden has now falling to third in its UEFA qualifying group behind Denmark (qualified) and Portugal, there's a good chance that first domino might fall.

You follow all that...?
