City beating EPL toppers Chelsea has to be the result of the weekend.
Emmanuel Adebayor was responsible for a goal for both teams in the first half (he had an own goal if anyone was confused by that) and Carlos Tevez had a beauty of a free-kick goal for the winner.
The big highlight came when Shay Given saved a Frank Lampard at the end to seal it.
The Blue had a little breathing room, but not much anymore.
In other results, United got some great goals in a big win. Liverpool went scoreless but got a point (that's a good week for the Reds these days). Portsmouth got a win, but is still at the bottom of the table.
