Thank god for the three points.

Amid a crazy awesome weekend of college football, I was very nervous/anxious for some World Cup qualifying.

And thankfully, the USMNT was able to overcome a crazy frustrating start (and a goal allowerd) to beat El Salvador 2-1.

Can't wait to get Gooch back. Bornstein is out of strikes at left back. And the Davies/Altidore combination up front has to stay in place for a long time.

In Landon Donovan (two assists) we trust.

And CONCACAF is officially a four-man race for three guaranteed spots. Oh, and check out some post-game reaction from JA and LD.

1. Honduras (13 points, +7 goal differential)
2. USA (13 points, +4 goal differential)

3. Mexico (12 points, +2 goal differential)

4. Costa Rica (12 points, -3 goal differential)

Thoughts on the call that nullified Jozy's second goal?

It would've been nice to have that for the goal differential.
